Time-lapse backups

Backups are a fundamental part of running any business.

With regards to time-lapse, the importance of data backups can't be overstated. It avoids any terminal loss of footage and gives the customer (and yourselves) peace of mind.

I'm also referring to material backups, though.

Having two of everything, from tools to camera housings, can save a lot of time and embarrassment. Sometimes things get damaged in transit or lost the heat of the moment. We've learnt the hard way the it's wise to double up on the important things when loading up for a site visit.

I distinctly remember being very relieved that I hadn't cut corners on this demolition job. I smashed the housing screen on site but rather than drive all the way home, I simply walked back down to the van and fetched the replacement.
