TIME-LAPSE

TIME-LAPSE EXAMPLES

Here are a handful of videos we've created for the likes of Network Rail, Kier, Barratt Homes and BAM Nuttall.

Barratt Homes, Sheffield

We've filmed numerous time-lapse videos for Barratt Homes over the years. This construction of some show homes in Waverley, Sheffield, was shot over a period of 9 months with two online systems, mounted on a couple of our telescopic trailer masts.

Devonshire Square, London

This project features the  "Cut and Carve" of a high-rise building in London - 7 Devonshire Square. The contractors, "BUILT", demolished the upper two floors and then rebuilt them with an extra one on top. The video was shot over a period of 19 months, with the time-lapse camera mounted on the roof of the neighbouring building.

Bridge Replacement, Oxted

This time-lapse was filmed for Network Rail and B & M McHugh Ltd. over a period of 48hrs. The railway bridge replacement was near Oxted, south east England. Two cameras were needed to capture the action - one clamped to some hand rails and another mounted on one of our 3M tripod masts.

Annabel's Nightclub Refurbishment, London

Eight time-lapse cameras were used to film this high-spec refurbishment at Annabel's nightclub, in London. Over 12 months, the cameras were mounted in all manner of ways and moved frequently to accommodate the cramped working environment, without impeding the workers.

Stapleton Viaduct, Bristol

Filmed in Bristol, over two possessions (12 months apart), this was another trailer mast effort. This time, the cameras were mounted on the same mast, pointing in different directions to frame the expanse of the viaduct at very close range (due to the cramped compound). We altered the shot intervals remotely for the crucial periods, which made a huge difference to the quality of the final video. We also captured some drone footage for Channel 5 and edited it into the finished product.

Bridge Replacement, Cardiff

Another bridge replacement here, filmed for Network Rail over the Christmas and New Year's period. A trailer mast was used for the high-level shot, with the lower one being captured by a camera mounted on a fence. Fairly short intervals were used to guarantee a good amount of detail.

McCarthy & Stone, Hexham

It took 14 months for McCarthy & Stone to construct this retirement home in Hexham, Northumberland. We captured every moment with a trailer mast mounted time-lapse system with remote access capability.

Heathrow Airport

This was our longest job to date. A mammoth 4.5 years condensed into 4 mins. It features the construction of an underground luggage transfer bay between terminals at Heathrow. The airport security was such that we needed to ensure the time-lapse systems were incredibly reliable, to prevent site visits which would have caused all sorts of access issues. They ran like clockwork and produced a fantastic result.
